1.5.18.1. Replacement of brushes
THE GENERAL DATA

Brushes of screen wipers should be in a good condition to provide good visibility.

Regularly clear brushes by means of a washing solution of a windscreen for prevention of occurrence of strips on glass at work of screen wipers. If brushes became very dirty, for example from the lost insects, accurately clear brushes by means of a bast or soft ворсяной brushes.

Replace brushes of screen wipers one or two once a year.

The prevention

Hot wax which is put on a windscreen at an automatic sink of cars, can affect degree of clearing of a windscreen screen wipers.

For prevention of damage of brushes, do not use gasoline, kerosene or other solvents for clearing of brushes or a surface near them.

For prevention of damage of levers of screen wipers or other elements, do not try to move screen wipers hands.

Removal of brushes of screen wipers

Lift the lever of a screen wiper and keep a brush in horizontal position.

 Press a lock spring () and remove a brush, having pulled it towards a windscreen ().

Installation of brushes

The lock spring should drop in into place on the screen wiper lever.
